Submissions

As part of our research and advocacy at CREATE Foundation, we respond to state and federal government inquiries on issues affecting children and young people in out-of-home care by developing submissions. These submissions go to government, Commissions of Inquiry and Royal Commissions.

We believe that changing the out-of-home care system requires the voices of children and young people with a care experience. We are committed to ensuring the voices of young people and children in foster, kinship and residential care are all reflected in our submissions processes.

We use the views expressed by children and young people in care during our consultations and research so that those who experience the system firsthand have a voice. CREATE Young Consultants may also be asked to further inform inquiries through their participation and direct input at public hearings and meetings.
